Lunaya has to be the most beautiful place to stay in the area. The Villas are so private and serene, you'd never guess that they are so central. Nestled just off of the main road and steps from the beach the location is ideal — you can walk to everything in minutes while still having a quiet oasis to escape back to. The villa is beautifully designed, with a minimal calm aesthetic that is equally luxurious. The private pool, massive bath tub and rain shower, and full sliding doors to merge the inside and outside spaces into one are all a dream.

Stunning, clean and in a terrific location. This is one of the best places we've stayed in our travels. Simply elegant.

Villas Lunaya is the best place to stay! I spent two nights here, and it was absolutely perfect. The location is super central, close to everything, yet still feels private and peaceful. The private pool was a dream, and the rooms are incredibly spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail in the minimalist, stylish decor is just stunning. I absolutely loved it and would come back in a heartbeat!

Our stay was LOVELY! What a beautiful space, super clean and modern, has everything you could possibly need, fully equipped kitchen. Super close to lots of restaurant, bars and shops yet the space is private, quiet and peaceful. Would recommend to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lunaya Villas in Puerto Escondido for a few days and it was an unforgettable experience! The villas themselves are stunning, combining modern amenities with a charming aesthetic that perfectly complements the natural beauty of the surroundings. All villas come with a private pool and a kitchen. You literally have everything you need! The location is ideal – just a short walk to the beach, where you can enjoy the sun, surf, and spectacular sunsets. The staff at Lunaya Villas went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were always available to offer recommendations for local activities and dining.

Fantastic luxury villas with an unbeatable location just a block from the beach. My villa was super spacious with great furnishings and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The serene private terrace and pool really make it difficult to pull yourself away and see the surroundings. Great staff that was welcoming and communicative.

Gorgeous villa, well equipped with everything you need. Really decent owners too who care about you having a good time! Would highly recommend Lunaya.

Amazing time at Lunaya. Close to the beach and the action, but still quiet and relaxing. They thought of everything to make a pleasant stay and to feel at home. Can't recommend it enough!

Right around the corner from Playa Zicatela, but far away enough to enjoy your sleep. Lunaya is beautiful, calm, and relaxing. The personal pool is absolutely worth it! Because of the comfort, we stayed in a our room longer the other places. 10/10 worth the stay. Also, we rented a moped and left it outside, it was still there the next day. AND you can use the locker before check in AND after check out which is perfect if tou have an early or late flight!

I really enjoy the stay! The arquitecure is amazing and it really gives a vibe with the ambient. Loved so much the private pool and the room is so spacious! The location amazing in the heart of Zicatela! I would go back as many times as I can! Thank you so much for everything

Villas Lunaya is an absolute gem in Puerto Escondido, and our two-night stay there left us speechless. This tranquil oasis is just a stone's throw away from the beach with the most beautiful sunsets and surrounded by fantastic restaurants, making it the perfect location. 

The villa itself is a work of art, with meticulous attention to detail in every aspect. We found it hard to leave the villa and enjoyed working in such a peaceful environment while basking in the sun and taking dips in the pool.

I consider myself a well-traveled individual, and I can confidently say that Lunaya is, without a doubt, the best place I have ever had the privilege to experience and we can't wait to return to this paradise. Thank you, Lunaya, for making our stay unforgettable! 

In a world full of misleading photos, it's so rare that a place like this not only meets expectations, but blows them out of the water. Lunaya easily has to be one of the most exciting and exclusive places i've visited in all my travels. I stayed there for 2 nights with my girlfriend and we never wanted to leave. It's private without feeling isolated and decadent whilst keeping a relaxed feel throughout. The natural light is incredible, all the way through the day. Every detail is considered and if you do need anything then the staff are super accommodating to help. The only thing i'd say is it sucks when you have to leave!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place! To start- the team at lunaya was so good at communicating with us and answering our (many) questions from start to end. They sent us restaurant recommendations, had groceries ready for us in our room before we arrived, and set up a taxi to and from the airport. My husband and I were here for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make it special.

The room itself is stunning- beautifully designed with all the amenities you need. It’s an interior designer and architects dream! We didn’t have to go more than 300 feet from the hotel the whole time we were there! I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto- this is the best experience I’ve had with hotel staff and accommodations. Thank you Lunaya!

Very beautiful and well designed villa. We arrive to puerto and had booked a different place but didn’t like it so we looked for somewhere else and found this nice gem. Spacious and beautiful designed place with a nice pool. The location is great, close to many restaurants and the surfing beach.

Love everything about this place! The architecture is so thoughtfully done. My suite was so spacious and well designed - it's equipped with all the important things. And filtered drinking water is always a plus! It's located close to everything yet is very quite :) Will be coming back soon!

We stayed 2 nights at Villas Lunaya and it was incredible — I wish we had stayed longer! The villas are extremely clean and the spaces are beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect if you’re looking for something quiet and private as it’s at the end of the beach, but still steps away from restaurants and shops. The bed was super comfortable, AC worked perfectly, and check in/check out was smooth. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Escondido.

Lunaya is by far the most beautiful, well-thought-out accommodations I have ever stayed in, no question. Every inch of this place is so intentional, but yet so minimalistic. Although the location is most ideal being just steps away from the best beach and restaurants, my boyfriend and I didn’t want to leave the room and private pool. The free flowing design is stunning, and so practical. I wish I could live in this space.

The hosts are extremely kind, accommodating, and quick to respond. They helped us with everything from planning fishing and bioluminescence tours, to early transportation to and from the airport. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lunaya. 11/10 🤍
